ROOVICE, HAYAMA APARTMENT

Located in Hayama, near Kamakura on the Miura Peninsula, this 55-year-old apartment was transformed into a bright, easy-to-maintain home. By removing partition walls, the once-enclosed kitchen was integrated with the living room, creating an airy space that connects visually to the garden through large windows. The new kitchen features a stainless steel countertop and custom lauan plywood storage units, with a versatile white tile counter. Lauan cabinets in the dining area and a custom 5-meter desk in the living room provide ample space for family activities. The redesign captures Hayama's serene atmosphere, encouraging family gatherings and a relaxed lifestyle.
